This interface provides on-line access to my nascent Grammar of Hausa, distributed under an open source licence. Using facilities of the LKB development platform, the PET parser, the [incr tsdb()] profiling and Redwoods treebanking tools, the interface allows one to input one sentence at a time, analyze it using the HaG, and visualize analysis results in various forms.

This on-line version, for the time being, only has access to the hand-built HaG lexicon (of some 260 lexemes. Please be prepared to accomodate some vocabulary restrictions. Clicking the Sample button will activate a random selection from a test suite.Hooked letters (ɓ, ɗ, ƙ) can be typed in either directly, or using letter-apostrophe combinations (b', d', k'). Tone and length marking must be consistent across the entire sentence (none, length only, high/low-only, full tonal marking). Marking of tone implies marking of length.
